Shoshana Centner
Shoshana Centner is an artist that lives in Johannesburg, South Africa. Her work is inspired by the Lubavitcher Rebbe. Chassidic teachings speak deeply to her and permeate her works.
Shoshana's early work had a natural realistic style with browns and burnt sienna ,using the medium of pen and inks in drawings and paintings. Later her works evolved to a  more colorful realistic style. She now enjoys doing a more colourful abstract ,childlike style,while still staying true to her chosen mediums:pen and ink.She also enjoys creating colourful portraits of the Rebbe, Alter Rebbe and Rebitsins in oils.
Her subjects are a lot about Moshiach, are happy, Moshiach having three letters the same as Samaech. As well as having a family and particularly being a mother has a influence on her work, Mishpacha having three letters the same as Moshiach.
Many people say that the use of bright colors and Chassidic teachings evoke feelings of happiness.
